Artist's description:

"This piece is venture away from my usual equine subjects. Whilst visiting a local agricultural show I spotted this lovely chap, and was drawn to his endearing expression and impressive horns. I enjoyed the challenge of capturing the texture of his fleece and returning to the medium of coloured pencils which I hadn't used for some years.

This painting is framed in a natural wood effect frame, and is framed behind glass. It was framed by Impact Framers, Barnsley, who are member of the Fine Art Trade Guild."

Materials used:

Mixed brand coloured pencils. Drawn on Fabriano Classico 5 acid free paper. Mounted using off white Arcadia Museum grade conservation mount board, and conservation tape.
