Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by several plein air painting trips to Sierra Nevada, California.I painted many small studies on location around the White Pines lake, which later served as a reference material for this studio piece.
White Pines Lake is a small, quiet, and picturesque high country lake with beaches and picnic tables. It is situated along the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway, California.

Materials used to create this artwork:
Oil on oil primed Claessens Belgian linen on 3/16 Gatorfoam archival art panel. The painting surface is protected with a coat of varnish.

The painting is unframed and will require a frame to hang on the wall. It will easily fit in a standard (USA) 12"x16" frame. Images of the painting shown framed in home interiors are for presentation of potential framing ideas. Frame is not included.
