This is another painting I prepared as a demonstration for my watercolor painting class. I kept the image very clean and simple, the point of the exercise being to show students how much to really saturate the paper to get a smooth flow of color.
The reference photo was one I took last year of some lovely potted lilies. I took the photo outdoors, and like the blue of the sky behind the lily, so kept it as such.
