The blossom on the trees near my home is the first sign I have that spring is on it's way. I love the delicate flowers emerging from the fine branches.
I chose to paint these flowers on a pale blue background, inspired by fresh blue spring skies and in an attempt to emulate beautiful Chinese paintings of spring blossom.
