One of the best things about staying at Glen Cottage is how close nature is. We onlly needed to walk a few minutes in almost any direction and we'd find some woodland trail, winding path, stunning view, hillside trek. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
At one point, we took the kids out for a short walk. We'd only left the house a couple of minutes and suddenly there wasn't a house in sight! thick woods sloped uphill on our left and beyond the fence on our right there was the most stunning hillside vista with so many different shades of green and blue that I knew I had to paint it.
I really enjoyed trying to capture the awesomeness of this Bussage hillside on canvas.
