I enjoyed a peaceful day on the wherry Albion, pottering gently along some of the Norfolk rivers, passing remains of wind-pumps. There was little wind and we were sometimes overtaken by moorhens, busily paddling with nesting material in their beaks but that just added to the tranquility of the trip. I took many photos and made some pencil sketches, sitting in the dinghy that was towed by Albion. The woodcut is based on those.
