This photograph was captured in Kenya during my research time with a herd of 50 plus Bull Elephants. This guy had the largest tusks and stood in front of me as if to acknowledge my purpose in photographing him.
What remains is what truly matters in life. As soon as I was on the great plains of Africa the noise of normal life dropped away and what was left was the freedom to be the real me. Once we let go of all that no longer matters is what remains, it is our real self. What we do to express our real self is what really matters.
