Artist's description:

The tender silver of the silk cloth, original composition, and complex, almost vibrating texture are aimed to bring you into melancholic atmosphere of late autumn – beginning of winter, a time of rain and wet snow, as well as early evening when there still must be a daylight… A crowd of people, heading somewhere and a lonely figure of the crow… Don’t you feel sometimes lonely in the crowd? The impression is strengthened by filled up bottom part of the artwork and a lonely figure at the top.

This artwork is made with use of complicated author’s technique of batik and painting. This artwork is painted on the natural silk cloth with professional German silk paints, batik textile dyes, waxes, etc. (KREUL Javana). The paint is water based, has no smell, and is fade and wash resistant (after fixing).

Signed on the front. Certificate of Authenticity is included. This painting will be shipped taken off the stretcher, carefully and safely rolled and put in a durable plastic tube for transportation. If you would prefer to receive this artwork on a stretcher or even framed, please contact me and I will arrange it for the cost of framing or with no additional fee at all (please note that transportation of the stretched/framed artwork will most likely be higher). Please see examples of framing/hanging of batik works at “Me at work” section of my page.
