One of my earliest memories is of standing with my father at the end of West Pier at Brighton in the late 1960s. After years of neglect and damage, all that remains is the supporting frame of the end section, now offering little resistance to the elements. In this small painting I've taken inspiration from other painters and nature to show through warm sky washes and cool sea dry brush the fading pier.
This painting is framed and is ready to hang on a wall or can be free-standing.
