Original artwork description:
Scotland is famed for its beautiful scenery but also for its weather - the rain. However, as far as I am concerned there is beauty to be found even in the worst of weather and I always enjoy painting a stormy sky and sea. Using the little card stand allows the painting to be displayed on a shelf etc. Painted in shades of grey and blue the rain is visible blowing in from the Atlantic towards land.
