Original artwork description:

Glas or glaz, in Breton, is a changing color which designates in particular that of the sea on the coasts of Brittany.
Neither blue nor green, nor gray but, all three at the same time, the sea is, especially at the very beginning of the year, a soft blue-green with iridescent reflections.
This Glas color has no equivalent in the French language.
Some have assimilated it to “duck blue” which is much stronger and does not have the transparency, nor the reflections of the knell, which will remain a magical color of Brittany.
The rocks are made with a palette knife with a strong texture and stand out from the smoothness of the sea which is all in transparency.
