Artist's description:

This painting is part of an Irish writers series. For years I have been reading the writings of Irish poets and novelists and it wasn't until I started painting that I could try express how what I had read made me feel.

I chose three of my favorite writers and my aim was to capture the mood of the time, as thou I was commissioned as a photographer to snap a moment in they're lives. I found the experience very moving and they are the only monochrome paintings I have done to date. They set the tone for me as a portraiture artist and I have not looked back.

A deal of £1,200.00 can be made if all three paintings in the series are purchased at the same time
