Artist's description:

After a period of lack of inspiration, I wanted to paint something different, vibrant in color and composition.

One night, on my way home, I realized I could spot the stars clearly. I consider myself a sea love. So, in my mind, I started picturing the night sky as a sea, and I thought I could myself navigate among the stars. The only thing I needed was a ship that could sail on the sky. Then the idea of this painting came to me.

The ship sailing toward the horizon, apparently without direction and its reflection on the water represents 2 universes, one next to the other. Scientists say that there are several universes almost identical but with small differences, and we can only see one of them. This painting conveys that idea.

This painting evokes passion for nature, and reminds me of those loving people who are no longer with me. Besides, for me, it has some resemblance with Peter Pan's ship. It's a mystical journey.

I used oil paint for extreme quality of color and vibrancy. I used glitter to give it a mystical aspect and realism.
