Walking along the shoreline close to my home, the sun glistened off the surface of the water. As I watched the waves gently rolling into shore, I noticed that each one had its own voice, its own personality. The way they developed and grew, then curled over and tumbled across the pebbles, fascinated me. I was mesmerized by how similar yet totally unique each wave could be. I had to paint them.
