Original artwork description:

This is a painting of the sea with a lot of movement and contrast. I just love the unpredictable stormy sea's. This painting reminds me of the old Japanese art/wave paintings and growing up by the sea in Pembrokeshire.
I paint a layer of texture on first and then lots of layers of colour to build up depth and an interesting, subtle detail. The final black layer is added and the piece comes to life! The colours blend together with ease mixing acrylic and Spray paint and the detail of this piece gives it strength from up close or from afar.
