Original artwork description:

This is a loosely painted impressionistic painting of Watergate Bay in Cornwall. I created an acrylic sketch in situ and worked up this painting in the studio.

Although the composition is very simple, close up there are layers and layers of colour which combine at a distance to give the effect of sky and beach.

This painting is in acrylic on a cradled board with painted sides and does not require framing.

10" x 10". Acrylic on cradled board.
