Artist's description:

In this series of paintings I show a mix of watercolor paint mixed with acrylic paint. The watercolor paint is applied in several layers on a white painted background. The structure that you see in the painting is applied with degreaser. Lastly, I added a top coating of satin gloss. The coating makes the colors more intensive and the painting is scratch-resistant and the painting will not discolour quickly.

In this artwork of the series watercolor madness, I mainly use the colors: mint green, neon green, light blue, dark blue and gray. I do this with the watercolor paint, but also with the acrylic paint. First I make the background of watercolor paint and apply the desired structure. Then I make the explosion with acrylic paint and mix it on the watercolor background.

The painting is signed and dated on the back. The painting will be shipped out after 3 working days wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in custom-made cardboard box.

Materials used:

Watercolor paint, degreaser, acrylic paint, palet knives, structure pens and a top-coating in silk gloss
