Before the finished work on Arches paper appeared, there were several sketches.
The watercolor lake is one of my favorite themes. This is probably why it is difficult to paint.
I was looking for a suitable color to convey the impression that the lake made on me in August. When I was looking, my husband told me about the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. And suddenly I realized that the longer I search, the more the goal moves away from me. And as soon as I resigned myself, this work appeared easily and joyfully, as if there were not all these numerous attempts. These are exactly the colors that I wanted to convey in my painting.
