Original artwork description:

It had been a sunny summer day. I was looking for marsh birds on along the Pajaro River. Suddenly strong winds came up and some of lightening. The placid scene was transformed into one filled with excitement.
I tried to capture the movement that swept through it. The whole scene was quivering. I first made a watercolor of the scene, then cut it into strips and put tiny pieces of collage on the strips.
