When you paint a lot, you have favourites among the works - this work is one of them. I painted it quickly and inspired, as if the wind was chasing me. As if these reflections on the water could escape from me somewhere. I like everything about this work: the restless dark water that sparkles in the sunlight; soft flowers that lie between green leaves and seem to dance with the movement of water; the leaves in the distance, which thanks to the aerial perspective, are no longer so bright, but muted down and delicate. This picture makes me feel like I'm on a walk and endlessly looking at a fairy pond with lilies that are eternal... that will never fade
