The wall sculpture is made from a so-called tree bead. The organically abstract form has the special feature that it is already slightly frosted and therefore appears even more lively. The burl wood is treated with resin several times at both ends. This allows the grain of the heartwood to shine through. A black alder was probably the tree of this lucky charm; there are many stories to be read about tree beads. If you're interested, google it. The tuber itself is treated with fine wax and stands out not only in terms of its feel but also its color. The 7 cm deep relief can be hung directly on a wall or with the included dark plywood panel 41.5 x 27.5 x 2 cm, which I give away free of charge. The total weight is then 2.2 kilograms. This plate serves as transport security but can also be used as a frame. It would be very nice if the object has a frame that is adapted to your premises, that would be my recommendation. A certificate with the work number 1077 is included in the shipment; roko (Roland Kopfer) is the signet on the sculpture.
