Original artwork description:

Some People put plastic bags over their heads, protecting themselves against the pouring rain, some hurry up with umbrellas, others ran into small Shops...This couple are seeting with hot coffee and waits for rain to stop. There is half finished Cup, half finished sentence, they are togheter in the look at the empty street and rain. I chose blue and purple shades to incorporate city surroundings with wet streets - with dynamic knife strokes I created atmospheric and moody rainy streets . The shop and couple was created with more firm and steady knife movements to reach a warm and protective souranding with warm colors....

Waiting for Rain to stop is part of my City im shadows series ....
The "Shadows" series are my paintings about light and shadows, about People and Streets ....
