Original artwork description:

Porthmeor in St Ives is one of my favourite beaches. I've made lots of paintings of it and in this composition, I have tried to capture the vivid blues of the sea and sky as well as a sense of being up on the exposed headland, looking down towards the beach and town.
This is an oil painting on board that I have cut myself in the studio. I would like to point out that the board is slightly rough around the edges but this will not show once the painting is framed.
It measures 19 x 25.5cms approx.
