Original artwork description:

This is a plein air work, painted all prima on location along the Pacific Highway on California coast between Santa Cruz and Davenport. I set-up my plein air easel on the edge of the cliffs overlooking the stretch of coast towards Panther Beach. I liked the terraced shape of nearby cliffs and the waves surge splashing onto them. Creating a work en plein air, all in one session, reflects the immediacy of reaction to the scene in front of me, and gives you the feel, mood, light, and atmosphere of that place.

Materials used to create this artwork: oil on double primed Claessens linen on archival Multimedia Artboard panel. The painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. The painting is unframed, and it will require a frame to hang on the wall. It will easily fit in a standard (USA) 8"x10" frame. Images showing the painting framed in home interiors are for presentation of potential framing ideas only. Frame is not included.

Kindly note that not all in-context (in a room) pictures provide a true sense of scale of artwork. Please refer to the listing size.
