'View From Brunswick Square, Brighton'

I love painting in Hove's Squares, Brunswick particularly as it has a fairly unbroken view out to sea. I was quite drawn to this composition - cropping out any of the architecture to isolate the interaction between the bushes, trees and sea to the distance. I liked the contrasting tones here as well as the bands of light illuminating the water.
