Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

The piece is a picture from the series Vanitas.
Vanitas is a genre of Baroque paintings, allegorical still life, composition centre of which is traditionally a human skull. Such paintings are early stage of development of still life, were meant to remind you of the transience of life, futility of pleasure and the inevitability of death.
In my artworks on the theme of Vanitas, I represent not only human skulls but animals as a symbol of the transience of any life. Skulls of animals are allusion to the environmental situation and the weakness of animals to man.
The artwork is painted on canvas in the author's technique.
