Artist's description:

This is an original watercolour and ink painting inspired by some of the beautiful windows to be found around Granada and Andalusia in general. I personally am a big fan of rustic-type shutters with lots of flowers of all different colours. If you're familiar with Granada you may have noticed that I’ve included a few special details specific to the city. The blue and green tiling above the window and the plant pot of the same colours are examples of a type of ceramic native to Granada known as Loja or Fajalauza. Everywhere you go you see plant pots, tiles and name plaques decorated in this distinctive blue and green combination which originated in Granada’s old city – the Albaicín – in the 16th century. So there you go – art, culture and history all in one!

Signed by me on the front in ink at the time of completion.
Signed, dated and titled on the back in ink.
Sent with a certificate of authenticity signed and dated by me.

I carefully wrap all my artwork to keep it safe during transit. This painting will be attached to a flyweight stiffener with corner protectors on all 4 corners, sealed inside an acid-free cello sleeve, gift-wrapped and sent flat inside a board-backed envelope. If you'd like to include a short message inside the package I'll happily do that for you; just let me know when you order!

This painting will be sent from Spain sign-for and tracked via Correos (the Spanish postal service).
