Artist's description:

Here I wanted to imbue the buildings with human-like dominance and character, making them seem as if they are breathing and moving entities. This idea came to me as I was working on this series as many of the buildings I was painting seemed very much like they were made in the image of their makers, which is probably one of the reasons why I was drawn to it in the first place. Secondly, I wanted to depict these grand buildings in relation to man himself, walking in between them, dwarfed and as if being loomed upon by his own inventions.

This painting was executed on a 100% linen, Winsor & Newton canvas, ready for hanging, using high-quality, professional Winsor & Newton artists' oil colour.
