A while back I painted an illusion so the viewer sees a vase instead of an actual vase, the artwork was purely curiosity and learning about illusions. The artwork was then later featured in a category “Vases” and they portrayed it as a décor piece. I'm against art for décor purposes so being promoted as decor bothers me. Fast forward I'd been looking at another vase painting although didn't realise I were looking at vases and thought they were oranges as vases, I decided to take that misunderstanding and create an artwork out of it.
Here's my vases for décor purposes, although since I have the motivation of my illusion painting behind this then it isn't décor anymore, it's a statement.
This artwork is a hand-stretched one and hooks will be attached on sale. Certificate of authenticity will be specially printed soon, you'll receive a temporary one until then.
