Artist's description:

Inspired by the Rhythm of Nature
and the Energies of Colour and Music
I strive to create art that generates emotion
Art that reveals the beauty of things broken
The inherent artistic perfection of the imperfect

The inspiration for this artwork is Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

This artwork was created using acrylic paint, glue and layers of torn paper. There is a lot of texture in this collage painting.

Vancouver Deconstructed is varnished with a satin finish varnish to protect it from UV rays, dust and fingerprints. As this painting has a lot of texture, I would recommend framing it without glass to better appreciate the texture, ripples, and lifting pieces of paper present in this piece.

In the main photo, the artwork is displayed on a piece of wood.

To give you an idea of how the artwork may look framed, I've included photographs of the artwork displayed in a white float mount frame and a gold frame with a rust matboard.

Artwork is sold unframed.

The artwork is initialled on the bottom right corner and also signed on the back.

A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be provided with the artwork.

Materials used:
