Artist's description:

I painted this three panel work to show the decline of Van Gogh into madness over Rachel.

Painting 1
Shows Van Gogh slumped at a table drunk from Absinth, ,with him sits a bored looking Rachel
On the left hand side sits images from Van Gogh's paintings at the front The Sower
In the middle one of the family form The Potato eaters her back turned as a statement of how the painting was rejected with her sits Agostina Segatori, Van Gogh's last legitimate love
On the right at the back in the orange berry sits Paul Gaugin with a lady in yellow.
At the back are sun flowers still bright and alive
To the front is Van Gogh's chair and on the table is the candle stick from Gaugin's chair full and burning

To the left are images of Tahitian ladies from Gaugin's paintings
