Artist's description:

This is an original hand made lino print. It is in an edition of 5.

It is printed onto white Somerset satin acid free paper

The image size is 16 x 27 cms on paper that is 28cm x 38cm

I've been working on the idea for this print for a while. Some of it is a trout's eye view of Crickhowell bridge from the water, combined with an above and below water, river scene, set in early April
The trees are bare and the Lesser Celandine is blooming. The swifts and swallows are flying round the bridge.
Usk Trout I (a similar print with slightly different colours) was selected for the prestigious Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibition in the Mall Gallery in London in 2017.
Usk trout II has been exhibited in the annual exhibition of the South West Academy of Fine Art.

It is a reduction lino print, in that for each of the three printings more lino is cut away.
It will be wrapped in tissue, carefully rolled and packed in a wide tube for safe shipping.
