Original artwork description:
Traditional oil painting of the astronomy muse Urania (Ourania). It's loosely based on a popular 19th century engraving, "Urania leads the student into the mysteries of astronomy". Except of course in the 21st century, her task is a little more difficult! :)
Available in either a contemporary frame or a traditional one (see two pics) or unframed as you prefer. Framed dimensions listed are for the modern frame option.
I package my larger works in custom made wooden crates and ship by reputable carriers which offers them the best possible protection in transit. The crates are quite heavy and bulky which does unfortunately add a little to the air freight costs outside the UK.
