Artwork description:

Landscape and the outdoors is a reoccurring theme in my work over the last few years. I am often drawn to the idea of being small in a big world as well as a sense of fragility. I like the idea of the viewer's personal narrative that is constructed when viewing the image. Memories of past events is also something that interests me, in this piece the memory of childhood holidays in Devon and Cornwall is present. The memory of looking out to sea and wondering where the ships were going and coming back from.

Upon the Wind and Waves is a two colour screen print of an original illustration that I've done. Its printed onto 250gsm Fabriano Unica 50% Cotton light cream paper. The size of the print is 8 by 36 cm with the paper size being 15 by 41cm.

The print has been hand printed by myself and is sold unframed and is shipped wrapped in tissue paper in a sturdy postal tube. Frame and mount not included.

Edition of 25, each one is signed and numbered.
