Plein air, impressionist oil painting of a row pink blooming ornamental plum trees.
We had SUCH an early dry spring this year, yielding bumper blossoms! I painted this stunning row in early March. I loved the "up and over" view of these ornamental plum trees flanking the endless farmlands. It seemed they had no end, gracing the side of the hilly country road with bright cotton-candy blossoms. To me, the scenic landscape before me reflected life's up and downs, and the importance enjoying the beauty of the journey along the way. ~Tali
