This is a real hit from my past. The winter of 1990-91 I travelled India and Nepal with my paints and paper and I did plenty of interesting paintings out on location.
This painting was done on location on the outskirts of what is now called Mumbay. And yes, I sat by the small hindu shrine to do this work.
Here the paper has yellowed somewhat over time, evenly, without stains or spots, and the picture is as true to the painting as I could make it…
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the brush strokes of the painting.
Please note that you can purchase in one order up to 6 paintings of this same size (small painting category) or smaller to be included in the same 1 shipping fee.
