Award winning image, Special Merit Category, at the March 2018, Light Space & Time online Art Gallery, Abstracts Art Exhibition.
I’m always looking for things that could be considered art in my environment, be it man made, something nature created or something that may be in decay.
When I first came across these paint splattered stone steps, I was immediately struck by the beautiful blue colour and then the name Jackson Pollock sprang to mind.
I’m always interested in how people perceive what’s in front of them, be it a painting or a photograph, be it in a Gallery or in the street and the argument that still continues is “Photography Art?” Well of course it is, I would say yes, wouldn’t I?
As a rule I print my pictures on A3 Matte Archival Art Paper but occasionally I use a semi gloss paper, this is because, I believe that the image will benefit. I reserve the right to make that decision on your behalf, unless of course you request otherwise.
If you have a preference of paper type, then if you contact me direct, this can be discussed.
The image size will be approximately 10x8, or what I consider sits aesthetically correct within an A3 paper format.
Should you be interested in purchasing one of my pictures, it’s worth noting, that print colour may vary slightly depending on what system you are viewing the image.
