Artist's description:

This is a unique freehand drawn piece from the recent Barrels series. In these series the monetary system is reinvented, relying on oil barrels as a measure of wealth and value, referencing the dependence on oil in the modern political and financial worlds. The bank note becomes of universal value, which further resonates in its multicultural symbol references. Oil and its value act as platform upon which the seemingly disparate Russian, European and American cultures coexist, at least in an Amanita world, harmonically.
