Artist's description:

Under A Seashell Moon was photographed during a break in stormy weather on McKenzie Beach, Tofino. It had stopped raining long enough for a walk along the beach. At one end of the beach the ocean had carved out two feet of the sand leaving a small amount of "beach" along the shoreline. Here is where the ocean waves would wash over the new shoreline and when the water receded it created this beautiful tree landscape. This moment was fleeting as the next wave would come and wash it all away. The ocean had churned up and crushed so many mussel shells that the sand had taken on a blue hue! One such mussel shell was tossed up and landed just above the trees in this image - which is why I called it Under A Seashell Moon.
