Original artwork description:

This watercolor piece was created in my native village, located in Western Ukraine. The painting captures the peace and warmth of an ordinary rural morning, when the first rays of sunlight gently touch the rooftops and the quiet of the land remains undisturbed by the bustle of the day.

In the foreground are familiar houses from my childhood, surrounded by fields where every path leads to a memory. Beyond them, soft outlines of forests and hills shield the village from the wind. The gentle pink and violet mist on the horizon reflects the very sky I used to see each morning as I woke up in my grandmother’s home.

This is more than just a landscape — it is a fragment of my roots, a piece of my soul I sought to express through paint and water.
