Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Day 7/365 of my Daily Painting project: Postcards from Pembrokeshire. Painted on canvas over board, each painting uses my homemade earth ground paint (made with different Pembrokeshire soils). A different painting for each day of the year, started 16th August 2016.

Greengages, green plums, sweet, ochre, sap green, blueish. Raw, in jam, in crumble, it doesn't matter. To paint they keep you guessing a bit - purples appear, greens hide behind a pink, a Kings Blue. Sap Green. The farm shop up the road sells Welsh Damsons and English Plums. Boxes of fruit together is an artwork in itself.

Pembrokeshire is like this. We eat well.
