This image is the first of a series of images created in three dimensions.
The idea is an extension of my desire to create coast and sea images, as I work by the coast near a fishing beach.
The fish have been made of air dried clay and textured to give the impression of scales. I then painted them with acrylics and fixed them to a mount board.
The frame is a blue cube and has a deep rebate to allow space for the fish, and spacers are fitted to the sides to place the fish at the back of the the frame.
