Artist's description:

Behind this image is our local airport. In fact, this is the airport David Letterman flies into. Its a very tiny airport located behind the small town of Twin Bridges. I found it interesting to think that there is this beautiful old barn left with the rich fields all around and the back drop of the Tabacco Root Mountains. To me it is lovely. The colors are much richer in the real painting. I did this on canvas and used acrylic. Its part of my 56 series. This is just down the road from where I live in the Ruby Valley of Montana. I recently purchased a rusty mat and grey barn woodlike frame and it looks quite well in that. If you want it framed like that let me know and we can work that out.
