"Twiggy", belongs to the series in which I work and which I call "Pop Art". I have taken characters that during my life have impacted me, and that are icons of our cultural and social history.
Achieving a portrait with very few strokes and lines is almost more difficult than painting a real face. That is what attracts me and draws my attention to the Pop current.
Only a few lines, without details and with strong and vibrant colors make up the work. I always care that background and figure are in harmony and in conjunction, and therefore there is a search in each work in terms of composition and color.
Although the strokes are minimal, my interest is in capturing that look or that aspect of the portrayed person's personality. The work is made with acrylics and brush. On the back of the canvas are the data of this and the number of records of work. It is a unique work, there are no other versions or copies.
