An original, handmade paper collage of the historical, beautiful Trinity street in Cambridge.

This street represents the famous 'town and gown' elements of the city featuring historic college buildings, townhouses and shops. Named after the largest Cambridge university college, Trinity College which was founded by Henry VIII in 1546.

Trinity street is dominated by the two colleges of Trinity and St John's and oozes their rich history and eminent alumni. The collage aims to capture some of this history together with the street's stunning architecture by consisting of paper materials relevant to the scene.
This includes; the founding history of both St John's and Trinity chapel, quotes from the 'Prelude' by Wordsworth and William Wilberforce ( both St John's alumni ), Newton and Thackeray text (who lived in rooms next to the chapel whilst studying at Trinity college) and music sheets behind the chapel windows.

This picture comes framed in a simple white, wood frame with ivory mount. A description of the contents of the collage is signed and attached to the back.

Patterned papers, music and text. Sealed with Matte Medium
