Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Ely Cathedral is sometimes referred to as the ship of the fens because it is visible from miles away across the flat terrain, like a majestic ocean liner. In a not dissimilar way, the groups of very tall, imposing trees, arranged in lines and seen throughout the Fenland landscape, could be considered the 'Trains' of the fens. Just for a moment, if you are in an imaginative frame of mind, you could be looking at a huge 'locomotive', hurtling towards you across the earth.
