Number four of my 'Superimposition' series, this painting depicts a forest road before the falling axe.
In this series I'm exploring dualities; what is seen and what activity it can invoke. I'm using my unique "Hollenstyle" to ghost this intention. To get maximum effect, place the painting where it might receive additional light from one side; for example, a window or another spot light.
FYI: The white surrounding the image is unpainted and is intentional. It's a device used to isolate the image for the purpose of visual impact.
