Artist's description:

I was walking around the pond behind my home one day in early Spring in Wisconsin (that’s something like May!) when I spied the blossom growing out of a tree limb. It was being lit from behind by a shaft of light which was being filtered through the leaves. The light made the anthers and filaments of the flower stand out so strongly, and formed a beautiful pattern on the petals that wouldn’t be there if the sun was shining on it from the front. I was lucky to stumble upon this. Then again, I might think that the beauty jumped out at me and beckoned me over. It was really hard to miss.

This photograph began my adventures photographing flowers, so it has a special significance for me.

This comes as a beautiful ready-to-hang 24”x30” giclée canvas-wrap print with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. I have tried out a variety of laboratories, and have finally found one that does a spectacular job, not just in the reproduction and the printing, but in the making of the gallery wrap on 1.75” stretcher boards. You’ll be thrilled when you receive it.
