Artist's description:

This painting is from my series of pure abstract paintings. I paint what I feel not what I see. Abstract painting is the most difficult art form to create, it is always a monumental challenge. As Wassily Kandinsky said "Of all the arts, abstract painting is the most difficult. It demands that you know how to draw well, that you have a heightened sensitivity for composition and for colours, and that you be a true poet ...the last is essential ". Compared to my pop art and modern landscapes , at least I have a reference point to work from, but the abstract emanates from a feeling or an emotion, from within. Sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't, and one needs to start again and again. If you have any questions please contact me, enjoy.
