This work is inspired by the feeling I get with sunsets, the transitional image produces transitional moods, while the sunset is bright and colourful the feeling is joyful and as it fades one's mood becomes more sombre . Its a beautiful feeling and its called the rising. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

This work is painted on heavy weight Holncorp Gallery linen canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is stretched onto a frame being 105 cm in height by 41 cm width.
